These are hand made origamis of a Koi Fish that were inspired by two online tutorials. The purpose of this project was to demonstrate the borderline value of less is more photography. Origami it self is a geometrical simplification of certain animal or object. The most important aspect of this piece were the different types of Japanese paper with printed illustrations. Thus creating a complexity to the piece even though there were only 2 - 4 pieces of paper used at max. This might be a start of a series of future works.
